My paintings are not intentionally political. I paint partly as a personal search, and partly as an expression of affection. The fact that they connect with land conservancy issues is coincidental.
However, it is my experience with nature that causes me to believe that if we are going to save the healthier aspects of our humanity, then the preservation of land must be at the top of our agenda, and I am content to use my paintings as a catalyst to that end.
